Lately, the electronipop group <a title=\"THE POSTAL SERVICE \/\/ Give Up \/\/ SP CD 595 \/\/ Sub Pop Records\" href=\"http:\/\/www.subpop.com\/bands\/postalservice\/index.php\">The Postal Service<\/a> has been popping up all over the periphery of my radar, and when the inestimable <A href=\"http:\/\/www.girlwonder.com\">Molly Wright Steenson<\/a> posted the lyrics to their song <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girlwonder.com\/archives\/001057.html#001057\">&#8220;Such Great Heights&#8221;<\/a>, I knew I had to check them out for myself.<br \/>\nWow.  I am appropriately amazed.<br \/>\nThis is almost <i>exactly<\/i> the kind of stuff I want to start monkeying with when I start my band.  Probably more actual instruments, but some of the same <i>flavor.<\/i>  Check out MP3s and music videos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.subpop.com\/scripts\/main\/bands_page.php?id=412\">right over here<\/a>.  Incidentally, <A href=\"http:\/\/subpop.dev.slam.cc\/downloads\/free\/Such_Great_Heights275.mov\">the video for &#8220;Such Great Heights&#8221;<\/a> is <i>nothing<\/i> like what I would have pictured in my mind, but it has a cool Michel Gondry feeling to it slightly reminiscent of what he did for The Chemical Brothers.
