{"id":921,"date":"2004-11-22T08:22:06","date_gmt":"2004-11-22T08:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.geoffreylong.com\/wordpress\/?p=921"},"modified":"2004-11-22T08:22:06","modified_gmt":"2004-11-22T08:22:06","slug":"waking-up-tired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.geoffreylong.com\/wordpress\/archives\/921","title":{"rendered":"Waking up tired."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So this weekend I did a small amount of work, finally experienced Akira Kurosawa&#8217;s <i>The Seven Samurai<\/i> (I&#8217;d seen <i>Rashomon<\/i> before, so I wasn&#8217;t a complete Kurosawa virgin), read China Mieville&#8217;s excellent debut novel <i>King Rat,<\/i> did a prodigious amount of hammering on the new site for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tohubohuproductions.com\">Tohubohu<\/a>, and spent a few hours in the <A href=\"http:\/\/www.mcachicago.org\">Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art<\/A>, where I conducted a dry run of the media experiment I posted about last week.  It&#8217;s no wonder, then, that I should be waking up tired &#150; but I am, <i>boy,<\/i> am I tired.  And, as always, miles to go before I sleep.  (Not that sleep is actually <i>doing much good<\/i> lately.
