The piece was also entered into the Intel Havok Physics contest, where it won two more prizes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Community Voting Prize in Jan 2009 for the highest voted tutorial in that month<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/software.intel.com\/en-us\/articles\/havok-physics-innovation-contest-winners\/#5\">First prize in the Best Physics Knowledge Base Entry category<\/a> (just<br \/>\nannounced at the 2009 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gambit.mit.edu\/images\/slinky.jpg\" width=\"428\" height=\"301\" alt=\"Slinky\"><\/div>\n<p>For his win, Skeel took home a gaming PC worth a cool two grand.  I said it before and I&#8217;ll say it again: &#8220;Way to go, Skeel!
